Later that night my roommates and I decided to hit downtown and see what they had going on. Well, apparently Santa Barbara celebrates Cinco De Mayo early. It was fun. We got churros, and danced to spanish music. We had a blast!!!! Hope everyone had a good day!

Adventures
Today was so amazing. My parents came into town and we got a lot of things taking care of. We spent pretty much all day on State st. It is a very long road and it pretty much has everything. There is several boutiques and even an Anthropolgie (a clothing store). Everything was going great. It was a beautiful day. On our way home we decided to get food at In-N-Out. We were almost done eating and the whole restaurant started to fill up fast with a baseball team. We tried to hurry up so they could have tables. As I was getting up to leave my dad came over to me and told me to look at the guy in the white shirt. I looked over and low an behold it was ROB LOWE!!! I was so excited. Man, he looks good in person. It blows my mind that he is actually normal. He is just a normal dad supporting his kid and his high school baseball team.

Blog that rocks all blogs
Ok so many things have gone on lately. Unfortunately I haven't had internet so I could upload. This blog is going to be a big one. First off, in case you didn't know I moved to Santa Barbara April 28th. I was able to see everyone in my family before leaving. It was nice. The first stop was visiting My sister Amanda and her husband Chris and little Ethan. It was fun and so sad. It's always hard saying goodbye. Everything started feeling real when we were leaving them. From then on it was difficult leaving everyone. I cried at the drop f a hat. I love them all so much and I wish we could all be together all the time. Amanda and Chris have been a great support over the past 8 years of my life. Thank you so much for all you guys have done for me over the past almost decade of my life. Your encouragement helped me make possibly the biggest decision in my life. I am so happy and lucky that I have you as family. From the start you have always been there. I love you guys so much.
These photos are a few from the goodbye.
My parents; what can I say. They have put up with a lot but I am so lucky to have the relationship with them that I do. I love them both so dearly. I am so glad that they helped through everything. They opened my eyes to Brooks and photography in general. They bought my first camera and even the one I have know. They have supported me in every aspect of my life and for that I am grateful. If I didn't have them encouraging me (even this day) I would already be home right now and dropping out of school. It is hard being away and they have helped me stay positive. I love you both. Thank you.
Did I mention that I have the cutest nephew in the world.?
Next was a goodbye with my best friends. Sam (and baby Kendall) and Sydney. They have been with me through thick and thin. We have been friends since the beginning of High School. I love them so much. Its weird not having them here with me.

Emili and Walt (oh and Madison too!!) They are so funny. There are who I visit when I need a break from work or just life in general. It is so easy to relieve stress when I am with them. I always have a blast around them. I love you guys. You are going to be great parents.
Move day. The car packed up.
When we were packing up the car Luci was curious. She had her ears up and everything. She was so cute I had to take a picture. Weirdly enough I miss her. Everyone talks about their dogs and I only have this picture of her.
My place. Santa Barbara is so beautiful. It is amazing. I can't believe I live here. It has everything you could possibly imagine. The beach, agriculture, mountains, and blue sky. Expect lots of photos soon.
We bought these strawberries the other day. I have never tasted anything so good. They were perfect. They were so large and sweet tasting. mmmm...beautiful.
My first apartment made meal. That's right, no fast food for me.

Easter
I am a little late on posting this but here it is anyways. My whole family was here for Easter. The DuFours, the Arnolds, and the Hodgsons. It was great!!
Ethan is so adorable. We had fun together...well, I had fun with him (I can't really speak for him). Him and I were playing this game. He was pushing all the buttons on the tv. My hand was over the power button so it didn't matter if he pushed the buttons. he would get bored with it cause nothing was happening. As soon as he turned away I would push the power button which would get his attention and he would come back all excited. As soon as he would start pushing buttons again I would turn it off. This went on for quite awhile. He is so funny. I love how excited he gets with every little thing. Like keys or my moms shoes. He's just so adorable.
Ethan was the only one this year to get a basket. We are too old for it now......sad times. This is him shaking his kaleidoscope. I love those things.

All of us: Tricia, my mom (Wendi), Dave, my grandma (tyanne), April, Emili w/Madison, Walt, my Dad (Glen), Amanda holding Ethan, Me, and Christopher. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

Prep for baby
This weekend we went to Emili and Walt's house and painted the nursery. The top half is pink and the bottom half is brown. We aren't finished yet but it turned out really cute. We still have a darker brown strip to paint. It's starting to feel real that she is almost here. I can't wait to meet her!! Here are a few pictures from the day...Enjoy!
Emili couldn't be in the room helping us because of all the fumes. But she was so excited and snuck in occasional.

Spring!!
I would have to say that spring is one of my favorite seasons. Everything is just a millions times better, Clothes are brighter colors, I can pack away my bulky sweatshirts giving me more room in my closet, and something about it just makes me want to be a kid again. I have these urges to skip and play with sidewalk chalk. It's a blast! Any ways, today I thought I would go outside in the backyard and check out the poppy that is growing beautifully. As soon as I opened the door I was overwhelmed with the scent in the air. It was kind of a sweet smell. As I stepped further out into the yard I discovered what it was. Our plum tree was blossoming. It was so gorgeous with it's white little flowers up against the dark trunk and blue sky. I couldn't help but take a picture. I wish we had smell o vision because I can't even begin to describe the fragrance. When I got closer to the tree I noticed it was filled with bug. Well I thought they were wasps but it turns out it was filled with all different types of butterflies. It was amazing. I hope it makes you smile.

Birthday Weekend
This weekend was busy. It was my mom and oldest sister's birthday. They aren't actually on the same day but they are close. We celebrate them together every year it seems. My family all got together at our house and had a bbq and some delicious cake. All together it was a lovely weekend.
There was dancing...well, to be honest, he was just walking.
The birthday girls.
They were so adorable I couldn't resist..
